#1. Powerglide Long Steel Clutch Hub for 9 Clutches. Manufactured from Heat Treated Bar Stock. This unit has been designed to be used in engines producing up to 1200 HP. Cost $69.00

 
  • Oil Relief holes have been slotted to reduce rotational weight.
  • When used in combination with the High Clutch Drum Piston (Part# 744000PS) the Long Steel Hub will accommodate 9 Alto Red Eagle Frictions for a yield of 15% more clutch area.

#PGV. Powerglide Boost Valve Assembly, includes .489" largest ratio boost valve. The OEM boost sleeve wears from repeated oscillation of the boost valve. The wear allows leakage, reduces line pressure and contributes to line pressure instability. Additionally, the original steel parts are also prone to rust damage in vintage valve bodies. Sonnax now offers a replacement boost assembly for the Aluminum Powerglide. This high performance design is the largest factory size (.489" diameter at the small spool), and has a lengthened critical spool diameter to provide better hydraulic sealing capabilities. Cost $


#PG6. Alto Red Eagle master kit with Kolene steels and a direct clutch Power Pack. Fits 1962 - 1973 Powerglide transmissions. The Power Pack increases the direct clutch count up to 8 clutches. Cost $239.00

#PG5. The Alto Hi-Performance GM aluminum racing Powerglide PowerBand is the holding element whenever the unit is in low gear. The Alto PowerBand is engineered wider than the OE style band (.336" wider); therefore giving 15% more holding capacity. Anchors have been offset to insure proper alignment when installed. This larger capacity band will be very beneficial for the Hi-Performance end user. Cost $199.00
