Measurements: 50 9/16" frame to frame, 53 1/2" hole center to center - 1" slot on one side - plus or minus 1/2", 54 13/16" overall. This A-Body crossmember will not fit an El Camino with a boxed frame. Measure before ordering, "some 1972's have 1973 frames".

Raptor-X Crossmember by PATC

F-Body Crossmember for early Camaro and Firebird 1967 to 1981, TH400, TH350, 200-4R, 4L60E, 4L80E, 700R4 and T-56.

X-Body Crossmember for Chevy Nova and Chevy II 1968 to 1974, Pontiac Ventura 1971 to 1974, Oldsmobile Omega 1973 to 1974 and Buick Apollo 1973 to 1974. Available for TH400, TH350, 200-4R, 4L60E, 4L80E 700R4 and T-56. When ordering a 68 to 74 X-Body crossmember, they all use the 67 to 69 F-Body crossmember.

Made from 1 5/8 inch thick wall round tubing. These crossmembers will accept up to a 3" exhaust pipe. After the crossmember is installed it can be removed and replaced with two bolts. Comes with 2 mounting brackets, 2 grade eight bolts and 2 lock nuts. These cross members fit both FBody and XBody cars. At this time we only have 1967 to 1969 crossmembers in stock for the 4L80E, 700R4, early 4L60E, 200-4R, TH400, TH350 and T-56 transmissions. Cost $202.00

#61XX. Transmission crossmember for the installation of a Turbo 400 short tail, 350 or 200-4R transmission into a Third Generation F-Body. Crossmember is made of sturdy mild steel construction and utilizes the OEM sub-frame mounting holes to allow for an easy direct bolt-in installation. Available with an NHRA approved driveshaft safety loop built onto the crossmember. Complete assembly is powder coated in gloss black or bright red for an attractive and durable finish. #61XXX. This kit is for installing a TH400 short tail, 350 or 200-4R transmission into a Third Generation F-Body. The kit includes the transmission crossmember required to install the transmission, along with our crossmember mounted adjustable torque arm. The TH400, 350 or 200-4R transmissions have no provisions to mount the OEM torque arm onto the transmission tailshaft. Our kit makes the swap an easy bolt right in installation! Cost $500.00. Torque Arm Rear Mounting Hardware Kit - $20.00

# 49. 700R4 tail housing with transmission mount (7 3/8 inches long). This will move the mount to the rear 5 1/2 inches. This moves the rear transmission mount to the same position as a TH400 (short-style) or 200-4R transmission. This extension housing can eliminate transmission crossmember modifications when replacing a TH 400 or 200-4R transmission with a 700R4 assembly. These are almost impossible to find. I've seen these at the GM Dealer for $210.00. $80.00

You get the 4L80E to Tahoe 4L60E transfer case adapter, custom made 4L80E to 4L60E transfer case output shaft, 4L60E to 4L80E wiring adapters, LS1 motor to 4L80E crankshaft spacer and a #10C custom built 4L80E crossmember that moves the transmission mount to the correct position. You saw it here first. Even the best built 4L60E transmission in a heavy 4WD supercharged Tahoe wont last long, a built 4L80E transmission is twice as strong as a built 4L60E transmission.
