#K17TC. " Street Raptor " Torque Converter (#1). Fits 700R4 transmissions (1987-1993). This heavy duty balanced converter has furnace brazed fins and added strength. If you have a problem with your fins coming loose this is the way to go. This converter stalls at 2200 to 2500 RPM and gives a faster launch than a stock converter. Even after a complete rebuild, internal leaks and normal case wear can effect a transmission's lube flow and operating pressure, changing the original calibrations and drastically reducing overall performance and longevity.
